******PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING****** You must first remove the Ruger factory installed rubber picatinny rail cover before attempting to install my monopod. The rail cover is easily removed with your finger, and will prevent my monopod or any other rail mount accessory from mounting if NOT removed. I am getting "this does not fit" returns for this issue sadly so please read this before saying it does not fit.
Simply loosen the knurled nut to fold up or down, then snug up to shoot or carry.
This is proudly made in the USA not chine like the ones copied from me. and a great item for your range box. This simple adjustable monopod fits on the back of your rifle stock through a picatinny rail and mounts with a supplied 8/32 bolt.The base is made from Billet 7068 aluminum type III Hardcoat anodized black to go with a 6061 hexagonal Black Hardcoat type III anodized aluminum adjustable leg. This item works great for sighting in a scope or target shooting when you need incremental adjustments and can be used with a bag or stand alone. This monopod adjusts from about 4" to 6" and is easily adjusted with your two fingers from your off hand by your elbow. The monopod allows you to keep your elevation while using your bolt action vs having to find it each time you let the rifle down or your bag fluctuates.
