Thompson Center LRR buttstock picatinny rail
What i have here is a custom Thompson Center LRR Buttstock Picatinny rail to mount a Monopod or other bolt action rifle accessories!
This is a Billet aluminum rail made in the USA by me and comes with (2) 10/32 screws and a llen wrench not pictured but included.
This is a do it yourself part and is NOT a direct bolt and go and will require drilling and tapping 1 hole. There is one current 10/32 hole in the bottom of the buttstock and you simply screw the rail one with one of the supplied 10/32 screws and center it on the stock and tighten. You then use a marker or pencil or punch to make a mark through the empty hole on the stock and then remove 10/32 screw and rail. Take the Buttstock to a vise and use a drill press and dril the appropriate drill for a 10/32 which is a #21 and then hand tap the 10/32 tap carefully and instll the new rail!
